Don Hill
I have been a musician, singer and songwriter most of my life.
My greatest passion however has always been songwriting.
While music styles have constantly change over the years, there is one constant.
A great song is a great song.
I built a recording studio in my home, "soloflight studios"
Here I write, arrange, perform and record my songs.
Still Standing
This is my 2nd album.
I wrote these songs in 2022 and 2023.
The title track "Still Standing" is an autobiographical refection of my life and complicated relationship with my father.
"Show them the way" is my deep belief in the family and how we need it more than ever in contemporary life.
The other tracks are my curious takes on the complexity of the human condition.
Indeed, I am still standing.
